NHTS 3.5.1

Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) offers a comprehensive range of services including supplementary nutrition, immunization, health check-ups, and referral services, along with pre-school non-formal education.

There are 35,700 Anganwadi Centers operating in the State across 149 ICDS Projects, comprising 31,711 Main Centers and 3,989 Mini Centers.

The proposed mobile app 'NHTS' aims to facilitate Anganwadi Workers (AWTs) in recording data for daily attendance, food distribution, child growth details, stock entry, infrastructure details, supplementary nutrition programs, and Anganwadi information.

Benefits:

• Maintain a database of registered beneficiaries and food distribution records.
• Ensure that pregnant and lactating women receive regular health check-ups and immunizations.
• Enhance the enrollment of mothers at Anganwadi Centers (AWCs).
• Reduce the number of pregnant and lactating women with anemia or undernourishment.
• Lower the occurrence of low birth weight babies and malnutrition among children.
• Decrease the rates of infant mortality and maternal mortality.
